Farmers of Tatarstan started training in poultry and cattle breeding at the "Farmer's School"

Today, training at the Farmer's School has started in Tatarstan. 40 students will receive theoretical knowledge and practice at successful agricultural enterprises, develop their own business plans in the specialties "Poultry Farming" and "Cattle Breeding". Beginners will learn how to start a profitable agribusiness from scratch, while their more experienced colleagues will increase the efficiency of their farms. The educational program of Rosselkhozbank is being implemented on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank Lyalya Kudermetova, rector of Kazan State University Airat Valiev, director of the Center for Competence for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Lukina took part in the opening ceremony of the Farmer's School.

Director of the Tatarstan branch Lyalya Kudermetova noted that the Farmer's School project is the first platform in Russia that combines the capabilities, experience and resources of the Russian Agricultural Bank, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, constituent entities of the Russian Federation, higher educational institutions, representatives of peasant (farm) households and leaders of the farming community.

Students of the Farmer's School in Tatarstan will undergo theoretical training, study the legal aspects of farming, financial business models, marketing basics, get acquainted with the latest agricultural technologies, and be trained at the leading enterprises. The course ends with the presentation of business plans.
