Agricultural fairs continue functioning in the republic
Today, traditional agricultural fairs continued at 15 venues in the city of Kazan, at two Zelenodolsk municipal districts: in Novaya Tura and Osinovo, at three sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk.
Citizens are presented with a wide range of products at affordable prices. This includes meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, eggs, vegetables, honey, sugar, flour, cereals and other farm products brought from the municipal regions of Tatarstan.
On the site of Derbyshki, agricultural producers of the Alkeyevsky district conducted trade. At the site in front of the Kazan agro-industrial park, Nurlatsky, Sabinsky, Baltasinsky municipal districts presented their products. Ilsur Metshin inspected site on Batyrshin street together with the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov.
“We are already holding the fourth fair, however, the hype for sugar is kept. The rest of the products are also presented in full. Perhaps the affordable price also affects people. If in stores we now see a price of 75 rubles, then at fairs granulated sugar is sold at 60 rubles per kilogram. I would like to note that such a demand for a sweet product is observed only in Kazan. Everything is calm in Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk,” Nail Zalakov noted.
Ilsur Metshin personally made sure that there were enough products, thanked the municipal districts and the Ministry of Agriculture for the work being done.
“Field work will start very soon. We wish our villagers good weather and a fruitful year, so that next year we will be provided with our products in the required quantity,” he said and urged the townspeople to make the most of their household plots.
