Institute of Economics of Kazan State Agrarian University celebrated its anniversary

Today is the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Economics of the Kazan State Agrarian University. A solemn event was held within the walls of the university with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. Former graduates who now occupy leading positions in the republic came to congratulate the institute on the anniversary.

 The Institute of Economics was created in 1961 as a response to the growing demands of the republic's agriculture for competent economists who understand agricultural issues.

Today Tatarstan can be proud of its successes in agriculture. In recent years, the republic has confidently ranked 4th in the Russian Federation and 1st in the Volga Federal District in terms of the share of gross agricultural output. Tatarstan is the largest producer of meat, milk, eggs. The agro-industrial complex of the republic provides the population with basic food products of its own production. Achievement of such high indicators became possible, among other things, due to the active interaction of economic science and production, the work of scientists.

“Graduates of the Institute of Economics make a significant contribution to the high achievements of Tatarstan in agriculture, occupying positions from an ordinary accountant of an agricultural enterprise to leading positions! Their professional achievements are widely known, a powerful scientific school has been created in the field of reforming and sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex, innovative management, organization and management of agricultural production, ”the minister said.

Then Marat Zyabbarov presented the staff of the university with letters of thanks on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
