The Republic of Tatarstan is actively involved in the implementation of federal programs for land reclamation
This year, at the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the federal targeted investment program, measures are being taken to reconstruct seven large objects of the reclamation complex. The reconstruction of a hydraulic structure with irrigation near the village of Bagishevo in the Apastovsky district of the republic was completed ahead of schedule. Also, four irrigation systems were put into operation significantly ahead of schedule - Alkeevskaya, Mamadyshskaya, Baltasinskaya and Chelny-vegetables.
These facilities irrigate agricultural land on an area of more than 2.3 thousand hectares. The total cost of work on their reconstruction made up 300 million rubles. All irrigation systems are equipped with modern wide-grip sprinkler machines "Kazanka" of domestic production. The facilities restored ahead of schedule have been operating since the beginning of the growing season and ensured the achievement of high rates of crop production.
“The advantage of sprinkler machines is the ability to operate at low water pressures on the hydrant up to 3.5 atmospheres, which reduces the pressure on the pipeline and saves energy up to 30-45%. Domestic irrigation equipment is not inferior in quality and characteristics to imported counterparts, and it is 30-35% cheaper. The standard length of the machine with seven sections is 444 meters. It irrigates more than 60 hectares of agricultural crops from one position, ”said Mars Khismatullin, director of the Tatmeliovodkhoz Federal Agency.
Also in 2021, within the framework of the program, projects were developed for the reconstruction of three more irrigation systems serving agricultural land with an area of more than 1.2 thousand hectares.
In 2022, Tatarstan celebrates the centenary of the formation of the reclamation industry.
