Readiness of reclamation systems for irrigation is under control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan
Last week, abnormally hot weather was established on the territory of the republic. A temperature record for the last 100 years has been broken. Abnormally hot, windy weather, according to the Hydrometeorological Service, seriously dried up the soil. Moisture in the meter layer is from 120 to 160 mm, and in the arable land - 19 - 27 mm. Meteorologists predict a shortage of precipitation.
To avoid this situation, specialists of district agricultural departments and land reclamation units checked the readiness and effectiveness of use of land reclamation equipment on farms of the republic. According to the results of the survey, the preparation of state irrigation systems and pumping stations of the federal property of the Tatmeliovodkhoz management has been completed, and the inter-farm and intra-farm irrigation system has been tested.
According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a significant part of agricultural producers who have received subsidies for the purchase of irrigation equipment and repair of land reclamation systems over the past 10 years have prepared for the season in time and actively use the equipment to obtain a good harvest. Those are "Soyuz Agro" LLC of Aznakaevsky district, "Khuzangaevsky" LLC of Alkeevsky district, "Orsis Agro" LLC of Nizhnekamsk district, "Suleymanov" farm of Nurlat district, "Rodina" collective farm of Alekseevsky district, "Kyrlay" agricultural firm of Arsky district, "Vyatskiye Zori" LLC of Yelabuga district, "Davletov N. G." farm of Menzelinsky district, "Zemlyaki" farm of Nizhnekamsk district, LLC "Biryuli" of the Vysokogorsky district, cooperative "Ural" and cooperative named after Vakhitov of Kukmor district, farm "Mustafin R. S." of Mamadysh district, farm "Fakhutdinov R. S." of Bugulma district. These farms from year to year receive high yields of agricultural crops from irrigated lands, which are 2 or more times higher than the yield from rain-fed lands.
All farms are recommended to prepare irrigation equipment and systems as soon as possible. The efficiency of the use of reclaimed land in the current year will be monitored by the reclamation service, specialists of the Russian Agricultural Center for the Republic of Tatarstan.
