Farmers of Tatarstan will be able to receive preferential loans for digitalization and labeling

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that preferential "short" and investment loans at a rate of 1 to 5% per annum can be obtained for the digitization of agricultural enterprises, the purchase of equipment for marking and other purposes. This is stated in the order of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Now, investment loans on favorable terms can be obtained for the purchase and retrofitting of agricultural machinery with automatic driving systems, spot fertilization, seeds and plant protection products, yield mapping, precision farming based on artificial intelligence or equipment for data collection and transmission.

Concessional investment loans will also be issued for the construction and equipping of wireless systems, including the construction of base stations, the purchase and installation of communication equipment to expand coverage areas for the development of precision farming infrastructure. The same conditions are provided for the purchase and implementation of software products, machinery and equipment, including the provision of broadband Internet access for the digitalization of agricultural production.

Agricultural enterprises can also use this type of state support. Thus, dairies will be able to spend funds on purchasing, applying codes and maintaining labeling hardware and software for certain types of dairy products.

Concessional investment loans will also be expanded to enterprises for deep processing of grain and flax.

Farmers engaged in dairy farming can purchase feed, including grain, meal and cake, as well as premixes, vitamins, and amino acids. Enterprises of processing plant products will also be able to purchase raw materials for the production of feed on the same conditions. Along with flour and bread producers, the pasta industry will also receive access to preferential short-term loans for the purchase of grain and flour.
