RCMC "Test-Tatarstan" became the fifth accredited body for certification of organic products in Russia
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that now the farmers of Tatarstan who produce organic products, passing certification in the JSC "RCMC" Test-Tatarstan ", are entitled to be included in the unified state register of producers of organic products and to label their products with a single sign "Organic ". This is a special sign in form of a white leaf on a green background with the words "organic" in Russian and English, as well as a QR code that allows the buyer to receive detailed information about the manufacturer.
The Republican Certification Methodological Center "Test-Tatarstan" has become the fifth accredited body for certification of organic products in Russia.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that on January 1, 2020, the law on organic products came into force. Certification of producers of crop and livestock products, organic food products and feeds is carried out within the “Organic Product of Tatarstan” voluntary certification system operating in the Republic of Tatarstan, which includes organic crop production, mushroom production, animal husbandry, beekeeping, cultivation, breeding, maintenance of an aquaculture facility , production of organic food and feed.
The criteria to be met by the production of organic products that receive the Russian ORGANIK mark are determined by the interstate standard GOST 33980-2016 on Organic products. Rules for production, processing, labeling and sale ".
