The processing and marketing agricultural consumer cooperative "Umyrzaya" of the Sabinsky district has been operating in the republic since 2009. The cooperative includes four small peasant farms, one private household plot and nine agricultural organizations of the region that maintain livestock.

In 2017, under the program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan "Development of agricultural consumer cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan", the enterprise received a grant for the construction and modernization of a slaughterhouse in the amount of 30 million 520 thousand rubles. The grant funds were used to purchase a modern slaughter line and domestic refrigeration equipment. The workshop was built in 6 months.

“We try to support the members of our cooperative. For example, we buy raw materials from them at a favorable price. We slaughter livestock using halal technology, refrigerate and then send it to different regions of the republic and other regions. We cooperate with companies in Moscow and the Moscow region. We send products to Izhevsk, Reutov, in our region - Kazan, Agryz and other cities, ”says Ramil Garipov, chairman of the Umyrzaya.

In the same year, they launched a production plant with a slaughter line with a capacity of 24 heads per shift and built a small boning plant. On average, this is 500-600 heads per month. In 2018, the enterprise produced 526 tons of meat, in 2019 - already 1218 tons.

The cooperative plans to continue participating in the program. The company plans to build a meat processing workshop and include the production of sausages and semi-finished products in the production process.

“For us, small agricultural cooperatives, government assistance is very important. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan provides good support. Thanks to support programs, we were able to expand the scope of activities and master new directions. This gives confidence in the implementation of our plans, ”says Ramil Garipov.
