Today in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Zelenodolsk region, fairs for the sale of agricultural products were held, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Agricultural producers mainly brought food and goods from Aksubaevsky, Alkeevsky, Alekseevsky, Atninsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Mamadyshsky, Novosheshminsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky, Sabinsky and Tetyushsky regions of the republic.
In total, 128 tons of potatoes, 100.5 tons of vegetables, 38.8 tons of meat, 14.7 tons of draft milk, and 241.8 tons of grain were brought to agricultural fairs from regions of the republic this Saturday.
Agricultural fairs are traditionally in good demand among townspeople, especially the older generation, and are of great social importance. Here you can buy products such as meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, granulated sugar, flour, etc. at affordable prices. Halal products were also presented. However, each site had its own characteristics. If the first buyers began to approach Batyrshina and Yamasheva streets fairs from 4-5 a.m., and closer to six - agricultural products were already snapped up, then near the Salavat Kupere residential complex active trading began only at eight in the morning. The demand for products was also different everywhere, somewhere in the first place they bought up grain, and somewhere dairy products and vegetables. At some sites, sugar and flour were good, while at others, potatoes, meat and fish.
The fairs were visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts, heads of agro-industrial complex units and specialists of the ministry. They got acquainted with the range of products presented and their prices. In addition, all products have been tested by veterinary services.
Organization of fairs requires a lot of work. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan treats them with great responsibility and the work on organizing such socially significant events will continue.
