The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites guests and athletes to the Arsk region for the "Horse Day"
On September 19, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, equestrian competitions dedicated to the "Horse Day" will be held in the village of Novy Kyrlay, Arsky District of Tatarstan. Opening ceremony of the event is at 11.00. International horse races will be organized at distances of 40, 80, 100 and 120 kilometers.
During the event, races of purebred, half-bred and local breeds, a competition on wrestling on horses "Audarysh", a competition of harnessing a cart and the most beautiful carriage and much more are planned. Traditionally, the highlight of the holiday will be the horse race of the Tatar breed, covering a distance of 100-120 km.
In addition, a rich cultural and entertainment program will be organized, demonstration performances by pupils of the children's equestrian school in Kazan, a forging master class, a fair of agricultural products, hot meals and a concert program.
