22 August 2020, Saturday

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov reported on the progress of harvesting in the fields of the Republic of Tatarstan today at a meeting at the Government House.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

According to Marat Zyabbarov, the first part of the cleaning took place as it should - this is the result of a better preparation of the entire harvesting complex and the organization of work on the ground.

So, today, 838 thousand hectares have been harvested in the republic (compared to last year's 632 thousand hectares). 3 million 225 thousand tons were threshed. The average yield is 38.7 c / ha ( 7.5 c / ha more than at the same period in 2019).

We have entered the second, more difficult phase of harvesting, said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, after heavy rainfall there are fields with laid grain, a number of areas are leaving for overtime. Now it is very important to maintain the high rates of cleaning the remaining areas.

“A number of farms will complete harvesting in the coming days. Those who have significant volumes of work should already agree on attracting free harvesters today, ”the minister said.

Then he analyzed the yield of the fields by zone. So, in the pre-Volga zone, the leader is Tetyushsky district - 54.3 c / ha. It is followed by the Buinsky district with a yield of 41.9 c / ha.

The leaders of Western Zakamye are Nurlatsky and Spassky districts - 44.4 and 40 c / ha, respectively.

Eastern Zakamye is among the leaders in this zone, as well as throughout the republic, Zainsky district makes 59.9 centners / ha.

Sarmanovsky and Aktanyshsky have slightly lower results - 50.6 and 46.9 c / ha, respectively.

South-eastern Trans-Kama region: Aznakaevsky district is leading with a significant gap - 45 c / ha. Bugulma district has 31.6 centners / ha.

Kukmorsky and Mamadyshsky districts thresh 45 and 42.2 c / ha from each hectare, respectively.

In parallel with harvesting, other types of field work continue. Now is also a very important period for laying the foundation for next year's harvest - sowing winter crops. For the harvest in 2021, it is planned to sow about 540 thousand hectares of winter wedge ( winter rye - 132 thousand hectares, winter wheat - 405 thousand hectares, triticale - 4 thousand hectares).

Many farms have started sowing. Sowing in these areas must be completed before September 5.

He clarified that with an abundance of grain from winter crops last year (we had about 1.0 million tons of winter crops), not all of them have pledged a carryover fund. This year we must fill in the required amount of seeds of the rolling stock, he said, especially since our felling allows us to solve this problem. The minister suggested returning to the question of who and how did it work at the end of November.
