The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the countryside. Every week we write about people who successfully develop their business in the countryside. One of these is Mars Yunusov from the Kemesh-Kul village of the Mamadysh region.

A successful farmer with 20 years of experience breeds dairy and beef cows, receives one and a half tons of milk per day, builds a workshop for processing his products and provides work for 11 fellow villagers.

He decided to become a farmer in 2000. At first he began to grow barley, wheat, oats, without receiving much profit, later he took up animal husbandry.

“In 2010, I received the first republican grant under the Family Livestock Farms program in the amount of 1 million rubles. With these funds, adding my savings, I literally built a farm for 50 cattle from scratch. The economy developed. Four years later, I bought Aberdeen Angus beef cows. Absolutely black gobies produce marbled meat. We sell it to wholesalers and fairs. I am convinced that I could hardly have achieved much without the support of the republic, ”says the farmer.

In 2016, his wife decided to support her husband. She received grant support for breeding a dairy herd.

“These funds had to be used to build a farm and buy cows. Rifat Mutigullin, a well-known entrepreneur in the Mamadysh region, helped a lot. He financially supported and shared his experience. Soon a barn for 100 cattle was built. The new, modern building is a former collective farm garage. When we came, there was devastation here. Instead of roofs, there were trees, ”remembers Milyausha Yunusova.

And in 2018, their daughter began to master the farming business. The family business is developing. Daily milk yield is about 1.5 tons of milk. All products are handed over to the Azbuka Syra Society. The farmers are planning to process milk on their own.

Several of the company's employees live in neighboring villages. For their convenience, a mini-hotel was built right on the farm. Free accommodation, meals included.
