Marat Zyabbarov: For 6 months of this year, 711 thousand tons of milk were produced, livestock and poultry increased for 207.4 thousand tons
The results of the work of the livestock industry in the Republic of Tatarstan for the first half of 2020 were reported today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

For 6 months of this year, 711 thousand tons of milk were produced (102% of the plan). They have grown 207.4 thousand tons (101% of the plan) of cattle and poultry.
Cattle and poultry meat in agricultural enterprises and farms for the first half of the year: beef - 49.5 thousand tons (100%), pigs - 47.7 thousand tons (104%), poultry - 109 (101%).
In more detail, the minister dwelled on the issues of beef production. He noted that 21 districts could not fulfill the targets. The main reason is a lack of proper feeding, resulting in low average daily gains. It is recommended to strengthen the control over the content and feeding of the feedstock.
For milk production from 43 districts in 16 - obligations are not fulfilled. The largest minus is in Zelenodolsk district - more than 2 thousand tons, Leninogorsk and Menzelinsky - a little more than 1 thousand tons.
For the first half of the year, more than 7 thousand heads of cows were missing in agricultural enterprises of the republic, said Marat Zyabbarov. The number of cattle has reduced in 19 districts.
The minister recalled that the August-Muslumovo company planned the construction of a dairy complex for 1200 animals this fall. In connection with the implementation of the production complex of the Leninogorsk agricultural company, the investor is updating the population and plans to build a dairy complex for 400 animals.
Marat Zyabbarov reminded that agricultural producers can use state support in the form of subsidies in the amount of 40% of the purchase price excluding VAT (but not more than 50 thousand rubles per head) for the purchase of pedigree heifers. For farms that have increased the breeding stock of cattle on January 1 of this year, 50% of the acquisition cost is reimbursed (but not more than 70 thousand rubles per head).
“I want to believe that by the end of this year areas with negative indicators will restore the livestock due to offspring and the importation of a new livestock,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan said.
In addition to this, out of 31 existing at the beginning of the year dairy complexes for 29,000 cows under construction, 5 were already launched in the first half of the year.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Food will continue to monitor the dynamics of the population and will report on the results every month at video conferences,” the minister promised.
Marat Zyabbarov reported on the situation with feed centers. Today stationary feed mixers are used in 13 agricultural enterprises of the republic. The economic effect of the use of feed centers is huge, he stressed.
In March 2020, the Takanysh branch of Mamadyshsky district commissioned another feed center - 3 mixers of 45 cubic meters each. The same feed centers are being introduced in other areas.
Today, on the basis of LLC “Alan” of the Tyulyachinsky municipal district, construction of the second feed center has begun, as in LLC “Giant” of the Tukaevsky district. A feed center with a capacity of 450 tons per day is being built in the Sabinsky district (the launch is planned for September 2020).
As for fodder procurement, on July 10, 2 million 220 thousand tons of haylage and 378 thousand tons of hay (16.2 cc units, 54% of the need, the rate of fodder harvesting exceeds last year's level by 1.4 times) harvested in the republic.
Next week, from July 13 to 17, a competition for combine harvesters, grain farm and feed mixers will be held in the districts. “The harvest is going to be difficult, the grain mass and the laid winter crops are large. Therefore, I ask you to organize this very important event well”.
