22 regions of Tatarstan completed the first mowing of perennial grasses

Harvesting fodder is under special control of the Ministry of Agriculture. So, according to current data, on June 29, 2020, most regions of the Republic of Tatarstan are completing the first mowing of perennial grasses.

It is very important for agricultural producers to prepare a solid fodder base, since without it animal husbandry would be unable to fulfill the tasks to increase the production of livestock products.

Agricultural producers of the Bugulma district harvested 13 thousand tons of hay, 27,200 tons of haylage. This is more than 33 centners of feed units per 1 conditional head of cattle.

Cheremshansky (harvested 8 thousand tons of hay and 8,400 tons of haylage), Laishevsky (3 thousand tons of hay and 24,800 tons), Vysokogorsky (7,1 thousand tons of hay and 40,900 tons) , 5 thousand tons of hay and 95 700 tons), Arsky (18.5 thousand tons of hay and 104 100 tons) and Tetyushsky districts(12 thousand tons of hay and 31 300 tons) are among the leaders.

Nurlatsky (11.7 thousands and 51,200 tons), Bavlinsky (14.4 thousand tons of hay and 15,900 tons), Tukaevsky (12.2 thousand tons of hay and 39,700 tons) Kamsko-Ustinsky (3.6 thousand tons of hay and 28 400 tons), Nizhnekamsk (8.3 thousand tons of hay and 32 500 tons), Drozhzhanovsky (3.4 thousand tons of hay and 41 600 tons) and Atninsky ( 1.6 thousand tons of hay and 80 300 tons) areas need to increase the pace.

In general, 447,491 ha (98%) of perennial crops were mowed in the Republic of Tatarstan, of which 153,630 were hayed, 269,244 were used for hay and 24,585 were used for green forage and silage. 317,700 tons of hay and 1,654,700 tons of haylage were harvested. This is more than 11 centners of feed units per 1 conditional head of cattle. The plan is at least 30 centners.
