Beekeepers and agrarians of Laishevsky district discussed current issues of interaction

Today, a meeting was held in Laishevsky District to clarify the procedure of the interaction of beekeepers when treating fields with pesticides and agrochemicals.

The event was attended by the deputy head of the district agricultural administration Lenar Sabirov, a specialist at the State Institution of Aquaculture and Beekeeping of the Republic of Tatarstan, veterinary specialists, as well as representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Rosselkhoztsentr, heads of agricultural organizations and beekeepers of the district.

During the meeting, all the rights and obligations of the parties were clarified, as well as the rules for beekeepers of the “nomads”.

“Specialists of the district veterinary service are certifying apiaries issuing passports. This work is carried out to better inform beekeepers about the use of plant protection products. To date, 90 passports have been issued in the district. In this direction, for more active work, informing is carried out through the media and social networks”, said Lenar Sabirov, deputy head of the district agricultural administration.

It should be noted that in order to notify of upcoming field treatments in the area, a WhatsApp group has been created. Chat is actively functionning and developing. In general, work in the region is being carried out actively, communication between farmers and beekeepers is established.

To date, beekeepers can get help through grant programs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. So, in 2019, within the Agrostartup program, 13 beekeeper applicants received support in the amount of 35.7 million rubles. In 2020, 23 beekeepers also passed competitive selection (total amount of 68.4 million rubles).
