In the Republic of Tatarstan, the sowing campaign is coming to an end. This was announced today by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a video-conference with all municipal areas.

Marat Zyabbarov reminded that the fodder procurement is to be done. From its organization, meeting deadlines, livestock productivity will depend. To date, 19 districts have begun forage harvesting. So far, more than 8 thousand hectares of perennial grasses have been mowed and the first 11 thousand tons of haylage has been harvested. The weather conditions are favorable, grass stand is above 35 cm, sometimes it reaches 50 cm.

This year we have to produce from an area of about 500 thousand ha of perennial grasses, the minister said. He appealed to the heads of districts, heads of holdings and farms - to mobilize equipment, to start mowing in an organized way, and to complete the harvesting of the first grass mowing by June 15.

For this, there are 843 forage harvesters, 451 self-propelled and more than 1,500 trailed mowers, 1,700 balers and other equipment in the republic. Technical capabilities, with the proper organization of labor, make it possible to harvest high-quality feed in the specified time, although the load on 1 forage harvester in the republic is more than 700 hectares. According to the Minister, it is possible to harvest 100 thousand tons of feed daily. High-quality ramming of hay mass and the use of preservatives are provided. “Repair, refueling of equipment and power of machine operators also need to be done. In the republic, 6 mechanized detachments operate. We recommend involving them for fodder procurement, ”the minister said.

Active renewal of the agricultural machinery park in the republic continues. This year, 240 tractors, 80 grain harvesters and 19 forage harvesters, more than 930 units of other machinery and equipment, were repaired and involved including through Rosagroleasing in the amount of about 2 billion rubles.

“Forage harvesting equipment is our weak point, it is necessary to update it, focusing on powerful, high-performance combines and self-propelled mowers. It is necessary to continue interaction with Rosagroleasing”, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reminded.

Last week, the acceptance of readiness of fodder equipment and fodder storage in the regions of the republic showed the level of readiness of each farm and district. So, the fleet of forage harvesting equipment was fully prepared, at farms of Aktanyshsky, Aznakaevsky, Alekseevsky, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Zainsky, Kaybitsky, Mamadyshsky, Muslyumovsky, Sabinsky, Sarmanovsky, Tukaevsky and several other areas.

Agryz could not prepare its harvesters for acceptance. Apastovsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Spassky, Cheremshansky districts are significantly behind.

Marat Zyabbarov also reported that on-site acceptance of forage depots showed the unpreparedness of Agryz, Cheremshansky, Verkhneuslonsky, Spassky and several other areas. “This is a blatant mismanagement,” the minister said. - Mass harvesting has almost begun; trenches are not prepared. Prior to the acceptance, all trenches had to be prepared. ”
