The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan continues the series of publications devoted to the agriculture of the TASSR during the Great Patriotic War. The enterprises of Tatarstan during the war were especially important for the food supply to the army and the population.
One of these was the collective farm "Kyzyl Yul" and a collective farm Frunze of the Baltasinsky district. “Kyzyl Yul” was formed after the merger of 9 of 360 farms in the village of Chutai. By the beginning of the Second World War, the enterprise had gained strength and became an efficiently operating economy.
Despite the harsh war years, agricultural workers showed high organization, discipline and dedication in fulfilling plans. The collective farm worked hard and exceeded the plan for the delivery of products to the state. During the war, the enterprise transferred 54 thousand pounds of bread, 1675 pounds of meat and 71431 kg of milk to the state.
The farm named after Frunze is one of the few collective farms that existed at that time in the region. The farm also worked stably in the war years, regularly fulfilling plans for the delivery of products to the state. In wartime, to withstand the most difficult conditions, not fall apart and provide the army and the whole country with food and raw materials - this was the main goal of the collective farm system. And the collective farm completely coped with this thanks to the perseverance, dedication, patriotism of the peasants. From 1941-1945, having exceeded the plan for 1300 pounds of bread, the enterprise handed over 19 thousand pounds of bread, 550 pounds of meat and 29 thousand kg of milk. In the victorious year of 1945, the collective farm collected 8.5 centners of the crop per hectare of land.
These agricultural enterprises exist today, continuing to flourish and make a great contribution to the development of the region. Over time, people, leaders and their names changed, but persistence, dedication and desire to improve remained the same for the villagers.
