Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov reported on the progress of spring field work in the Republic of Tatarstan today at a meeting in the Government House.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconferencing meeting with all municipal areas. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
“This week, the intensity of work in the context of regions was different due to past local precipitation. In general, the condition of winter crops has not worsened. ”
Before the start of the growing season, winter crops received the first nitrogen top dressing almost completely; there is a top dressing on some lands.
Starting from April 9, the republic began the first spraying of winter crops with the use of biofungicides (for prevention), microelements and growth stimulants. In general, 3-4 treatments are planned for the growing season, combining protection with foliar top dressing. But security of all material resources including mineral fertilizers is also needed.
To date, the accumulation of mineral fertilizers is 146 thousand tons of a.a., or 52 kg a.i. / ha (8 kg a.i. / ha more than in 2019).
In the republic, seven districts achieved an average accumulation of 70 kg a.s. per hectare. These are Zainsky, Sarmanovsky (Agrosila JSC) - about 90 kg a.s., - Tetyushsky, Tukaevsky - over 80 kg a.s., - Atninsky, Sabinsky, Baltasinsky districts - over 75 kg a.s. They continue to purchase mineral fertilizers.
So far, the situation is more complicated in Agryz district (16 kg) and Novosheshminsky areas - just above 20 kg a.s. / ha.
The situation in the Kamsko-Ustyinsky and Verkhneuslonsky districts is somewhat improving, but 70 kg is still far away.
Another important issue, according to the minister, is the seeds. In general, there are certain changes for the better in updating seed material, including cereals. The activity on variety exchange and variety renewal is much higher.
“In general, for harvesting, we will have acreage of original and elite seeds - over 40%; reproduction - 42%; mass - less than 15%, this is the average for the republic”, said Marat Zyabbarov.
Serious attention is paid to the improvement of the seed fund by the districts. They plan to sow their arable land with seeds of mass reproductions, in another way - rootless. This is the Cheremshansky district - it plans to plant 48% of spring grain seeds of mass reproductions or without any documents at all; Verkhneuslonsky - 45%; Bugulminsky - 43%; Novosheshminsky - 38%.
According to the Rosselkhoztsetr, 84% have been verified. In general, the quality of the seed is not bad. In individual batches there is a high infection rate. Therefore, we recommend farm specialists to be more careful and take into account the results of phyto-examination when choosing seed dressers.
According to the Russian Agricultural Center, to this day, a number of farms do not have data on the quality of their sown seeds.
In terms of budget support for the crop sector, compensatory subsidies have been fully paid, a significant part of the stimulating support has also been brought. In the near future they will receive additional budget support for rapeseed and soy.
“Oilseeds are the most export-oriented. Therefore, it will be beneficial for us to increase the area of rapeseed and soybeans. Over the past two years, budgetary funds have been allocated for grain and oilseeds only for crops sown with seeds zoned in a specific region, ”said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
He asked the heads of municipal districts - so as not to lose a significant part of the budget support - to conduct an audit of sown seeds for regionalization.
