By the national project “Support for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”, beginning farmers of Tatarstan can receive a grant up to 6 million rubles under the program “Agrostartup” of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Applications are accepted until March 31.
And, today in every district there are people who have opened their business and successfully develop it. One of them is Grigory Malanchev from the village of Staraya Kiremet of the Aksubaevsky district. In 2017, he received a grant of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of 3 million rubles for dairy farming.
When Grigory Malanchev decided to start farming, he already had a theoretical and practical knowledge base. “I graduated from the Aksubaevsky College of Universal Technologies. During his studies, he mastered agricultural machinery and the basics of agricultural business. Then, continuing his studies and having worked for a couple of years in Kazan, he returned to his native village. From early childhood, he helped parents in a private farm, taking care of animals.
The farmer's own business is confidently moving forward. In four years, he has become a reliable agricultural producer of the region. With the grant, he bought pedigree cows, fodder equipment, a conveyor for manure removal, etc.
Now his farm contains 76 cattle, 40 of which are dairy cows. Grigory Malanchev's farm has more than 300 hectares of land. There he grows crops: oats, barley and perennial herbs. In summer, the farmer plans to start harvesting hay. To increase milk production he wants to buy more cows.
“Running an agricultural business in the village is not easy. This is not only profit, but also everyday work and responsibility for the decisions. There are, of course, issues. It is necessary to minimize the cost of production, then the profit will be more tangible. I am working on it”, the head of the farm shares.
