By the national project “Support to small and medium-sized enterprises, novice farmers of Tatarstan can receive a grant to open their business under the Agrostartup program up to 6 million rubles. Applications are accepted until March 31.

And today there are a lot of those who have already opened their own business in the countryside with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Production of the Republic of Tatarstan. So, the Shamsutdinovs family from the village of Verkhnyaya Kamenka of the Cheremshansky district opened a small livestock farm. In 2015, according to the republican program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 200 thousand rubles were received for the development of the mini-farm.

Eight cows are kept on Gabbas Shamsutdinov’s own farm, which has worked as a farm manager for over 20 years. The family does all the work. They have a tractor, trailed equipment and a shredder for grass hay. On 40 hectares of unit lands, crops and perennial grasses are grown. There’s enough fodder, you don’t have to buy it - everything is yours. Cows are grazed by an electric shepherd.

“There is always milk and meat on the table, and taking care of animals is not a burden. It is gratifying that today I can offer milk to the villagers with whom I once worked together, ”says the wife, Gulsira Shamsutdinova.

Son Gayar, daughter-in-law Madina, grandchildren Ilgiz and Ildar help to cope with the household. They live together in a spacious two-story house. It even has a real wood stove. Gulsira Shamsutdinova bakes bread.

Today, the Shamsutdinovs are among those who hand over the largest amount of milk in the region. It is taken away by the Starokadeevsky businessman. There are no delays in this matter.

“We milk cows using the machine. Today there is not much milk, we sell about 50 liters a day, but in the summer months we have been selling on average up to 2700 kilograms, ”Madina says. And this is more than 56 thousand rubles revenue monthly!
