Tatarstan farmers can get soft loans for seasonal field work

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan conducts operational monitoring in the field of lending to the country's agro-industrial complex during the spring field work.

The limit of subsidies for preferential short-term lending for 2020 is 549.6 million rubles. This will attract up to 11.3 billion rubles loans. The loan rate does not exceed 5% per year. For the same period in 2019, agricultural enterprises and organizations for the provision of seasonal field work were provided with credit resources in the amount of 626.6 million rubles.

Subsidies are provided in the following areas:

small forms - 109.9 million rubles;

plant growing - 219.8 million rubles;

livestock - 92.3 million rubles;

dairy cattle breeding - 109.9 million rubles;

processing of products - 17.6 million rubles.

So, to date, 80 households have been declared to authorized banks for 10.4 billion rubles, including 27 IFCs for 161.8 million rubles; 51 applications for 5.4 billion rubles were submitted for seasonal field work, including 25 applications from the IFC for 160.1 million rubles. In particular, Russian Agricultural Bank accepted 38 applications for 5.7 billion rubles, including 14 IFC applications for 120.7 million rubles, Sberbank - 32 applications for 3.5 billion rubles, including 13 IFC applications for 41, 1 million rubles., Alfa-Bank - 4 applications for 200 million rubles., VTB - 6 applications for 1 billion rubles.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan also informs that this year the maximum size of a short-term loan to one borrower was increased to 600 million rubles (it’s 200 million more compared to the last year).
