A conference in Moscow will discuss food security, crop production and city-farming

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that from March 3 to 4, the ANO Center for Prospective Development “Ecogorod Novyi Mir” organizes the conference “Food Security, Development of Russian Closed Crop Production, City-Farming”. The event can be attended by farmers and scientific agricultural organizations.

The conference will be held in the format of discussios, reports and practical cases. The moderators of the sites will be experts, representatives of government agencies, the agribusiness industry, retail, AgroTech startups and investment funds.

The main topics for discussion will be new growing technologies and IT technologies of progressive crop production, digital agriculture, career guidance in digital technologies, features of standardization and certification of AgroTech products.

During the event, participants will consider the prospects of creating city-farming on the territory of megacities, BIO-Agro complexes for public spaces and retail, BIO modules for agglomerations, etc.

During the event, it is planned to develop strategies for cooperation between state authorities and local self-government, scientific organizations, investors, public associations to form the AGROTECH innovative segment.
