Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites to the forum of beekeepers and the festival of honey

On February 21-22, in Kazan, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatarstan forum of beekeepers “Actual development issues and strategic solutions for the safety of beekeeping” and the honey festival will be held.

An exhibition and sale of equipment for beekeeping, implements, raw materials, veterinary preparations and educational literature will be organized. The work of the round table "Pollinating activity of bees: significance, problems, solutions" and the honey festival is planned.

They will also consider issues of increasing the production and its export, while observing environmental safety standards in the context of the use of new generation pesticides. Leading experts of beekeeping, specialists from ministries and departments of the republic will talk about certification of apiaries, protection of the rights of beekeepers, about the causes of mass death of bee colonies in the conditions of industrialization of agricultural production and laboratory diagnosis of bee poisoning by pesticides.

Beekeepers of the republic, scientists, representatives of state federal and regional government structures of the agro-industrial complex, research institutes and universities, heads and specialists of agricultural groups are invited to participate in the forum.

The event will begin on February 21 at 8.30 in the TIPKA building at the address: Kazan, st. Orenburg tract, d. 8 (assembly hall). A detailed program can be found here.
