At the agro-industrial forum they discussed the economy of agricultural enterprises

On February 13, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the Agro-Industrial Forum at Kazan Expo, held a round table on the topic "Improving the economic efficiency of agricultural production."

The opening speech was made by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov. He said that 2.4% of farmland in Tatarstan produces 4.2% of agricultural products. So, the gross agricultural output of the republic in 2019 amounted to 250.9 billion rubles. 414 of 448 agricultural organizations in the Republic of Tajikistan are profitable.

Rishat Khabipov announced that last year 4.52 million tons of grain, 2.8 million tons of sugar beets, 1.21 million tons of potatoes and 343.9 thousand tons of vegetables were received. He also reminded the results of the livestock industry for 2019.

In addition, the Deputy Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the level of preparation of equipment for spring-field work in 2020. So, to conduct the sowing campaign of 2020, more than 25 billion rubles will be required for mineral fertilizers, fuels and lubricants, spare parts, agricultural products and seeds.

He noted large investment projects being implemented in the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan, including dairy complexes (11.4 billion rubles), Kazan Dairy Plant (4.7 billion rubles) and Chelny-Broiler LLC (3.5 billion rubles).

Also Doctor of Economics, Professor Farit Mukhametgaliev and Deputy Director of the Tatarstan branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC Lilia Akhmetova took part in the event. Questions of introducing digital technologies, rationing labor processes and improving the wage system, measures to support republican agricultural producers, the effectiveness of targeted agriculture and energy efficiency in enterprises were raised.
