Czech Minister of Agriculture Miroslav Toman in Kazan: If such vegetables were in the Czech Republic, I would become a vegetarian

On February 3, Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic Miroslav Toman, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, visited the Maysky greenhouse located in Zelenodolsky district of Tatarstan.

He called the vegetables produced there products of "great taste."

“Today we visited the magnificent Maysky complex. This greenhouse complex can serve as an example for the Czech Republic. We tried vegetables there, they have such a wonderful taste. If such vegetables were in the Czech Republic, I would become a vegetarian, ”said Miroslav Toman.

According to him, in the Czech Republic mainly crops are grown - wheat, rye, barley, corn, as well as rapeseed and potatoes. In addition, pig breeding, cattle breeding, poultry farming, sheep breeding, viticulture, and freshwater fish farming are developed.

Recall, on February 3, the Czech-Tatarstan business forum was held in Kazan with the participation of 20 companies of the Czech Republic and about 50 Tatarstan enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. The business program of the Czech delegation will continue today with a visit to Kazan State Agrarian University and will end with a meeting with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
