A delegation of the Arsk region is studying the experience of the Leningrad region in the development of dairy farming

In order to exchange experience, the delegation of the Arsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan is on a working visit in the Leningrad region. The program of a business trip includes meetings with the heads of agricultural enterprises.

The delegation consists of Renat Gatiyatov, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Arsk District, and heads of farms. The delegation is accompanied by the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region Damir Sabirov.

On January 22, a delegation from the Arsk region visited the Detskoselsky Concern, which is one of the largest agricultural holdings and one of the best agricultural enterprises in Russia. The delegation members got acquainted with the technologies used in animal husbandry (feeding, diets, growing and keeping young animals), as well as with the construction and equipping of modern dairy farms.

In addition, as part of the implementation of the clauses of the Agreement on Cooperation between the twin regions, a trip to the Tosno district of the Leningrad Region took place on January 23.

Dairy farming in the Leningrad region, as well as in Tatarstan, is one of the priority sectors of the agriculte and shows good results.

A priority area for the development of the economy of the Arsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan is also agriculture. Farmland occupies 132.4 thousand ha. 17 agricultural firms and 70 peasant farms operate on the territory of the district.
