Tatarstan's agrarians received more than 410 million rubles in the national project
In 2019, agricultural producers of Tatarstan, by the national project “Small and Medium Businesses,” received various forms of support worth over 410 million rubles.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan provides support for the national project in the republic through the provision of agrostartup grants to peasant farms, the provision of subsidies for the development of agricultural consumer cooperatives and the reimbursement of up to 50% of the costs of acquiring property, equipment and livestock.
By the Agrostartup program, in 2019, 103 applicants received grants from 2 to 4 million rubles totaling 312.7 million rubles, and under the program for providing subsidies for the development of agricultural consumer cooperatives, 29 cooperatives received subsidies in the amount of 98.9 million rubles.
“The Ministry pays great attention to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the countryside. Today in every district there are people who have opened their own business with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic. At the same time, many of them are also ready to help others, cooperatives are beginning to function with their own forces, ”said Rishat Khabipov, deputy minister of agriculture.
280 cooperatives work in the republic today, 55 of them were created last year. The revenue of cooperatives over the past two years has doubled, and the number of their members has grown eight times.
Recall that the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises and the support of individual entrepreneurial initiatives" was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for the period until 2024. Its structure includes five federal projects - improving the conditions for doing business, expanding access for SMEs to financial resources, including preferential financing, accelerating SMEs, creating a support system for farmers and developing rural cooperation, and promoting entrepreneurship. 481.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the national project until 2024.
