Then, the chief of the Department of Agriculture and Food Ilnur Farukhshin addressed the heroes of the day. “32355 hectares of arable land are assigned to agricultural enterprises of the region, 7 limited liability companies, 8 large-scale farms, as well as 50 small-scale farms are occupied in agricultural production. In 2019, gross output amounted 503 million rubles. Crop yields amounted to 25 centners per hectare, against 19.25 centners in 2018. Agricultural enterprises harvested 34 thousand tons of grain, which is 10 thousand tons more than last year. For 10 months of this year 8469 tons of milk and 1440 tons of meat were produced by all categories of farms. The agricultural enterprises contain 4837 heads of cattle, including 1897 cows, 1489 pigs, 1516 heads of sheep, 36 thousand heads of birds. Cow productivity was 3,471 kg, compared to 3,263 kg in 2018. In the district there are farms that are among the leaders in terms of productivity per cow - peasant farm Aglieva Dinara, for example, its milk yield for 10 months amounted to 6859 kg. Among the family cattle-breeding peasant farms, heads of peasant farms Khayriev Ilnur, Kharitonov Georgiy, Nigmatzyanov Almaz, Vasiliev Leonid and Vasiliev Nikolay show good results in the livestock and crop production sector, increase production, increase livestock productivity and serve as a good example of competent management of the farm.
The state supports agriculture with subsidies and development grants. For 10 months of 2019, the Mendeleevsky district received more than 47 million subsidies for various items. This year 2 peasant farms received grants - Kharitonov Georgy received more than 6 million rubles for the construction of a barn for 200 heads of cows and the purchase of livestock, and the head of the farm, Antipova Guzel by the Agrostartap Program received 3 million rubles for the development of beekeeping. Agricultural cooperative “Dominant” received support from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for the purchase of a slaughterhouse for poultry.
