On Saturday, November 16, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites residents of the republic to purchase agricultural products at affordable prices at fairs in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and in the village of Oktyabrsky Zelenodolsky District (the Novaya Tura trade complex). Citizens will be able to purchase meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, eggs, vegetables, honey, sugar, flour, cereals and other farm products brought from the municipal regions of Tatarstan.
“Because of the importance of agricultural fairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan decided to open a Hotline for conducting fairs,” the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan noted Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
Recall that the autumn fairs started on September 14 and will be held weekly until the New Year. The assortment at various sites has its own characteristics, and is tailored to the needs of residents. According to the results of 5 spring and 9 autumn fairs of 2019, in the cities of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk municipal district of Tatarstan, products were imported and sold for a total amount of 849.2 million rubles. Citizens purchased 1256 tons of meat, 318 tons of draft milk, 557 tons of flour and 655 tons of granulated sugar.
