The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of animal husbandry for 10 months of 2019
Today, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the livestock industry for 10 months of 2019. The meeting was held by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov.
The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal areas and other responsible persons.
Lenar Garipov presented the results of the livestock industry. In his speech, he focused on issues of milk and meat production, as well as analysis of the operation of farms.
Today the number of cattle in the republic is 706.8 thousand heads, including 238.6 thousand cows, 451.1 thousand pigs, 54.1 thousand sheep and goats, 14.5 million poultry heads and 19.6 thousand horses.
During the meeting, the leaders in increasing the number of cattle for 10 months of this year were announced. These were Mamadyshsky (+3117 heads), Baltasinsky (+1303), Sabinsky (+1663), Atninsky (+868), Rybno-Slobodsky (+768), Kukmorsky (+825), Drozhzhanovsky (+317), Bavlinsky (+ 298) and Tetyushsky (+208) areas.
Over 10 months of this year, agricultural enterprises produced 1135.8 thousand tons of milk (104% in relation to last year), 332.4 thousand tons of meat (103%), including 81.4 thousand cattle (grown) tons, pigs - 76.1 thousand tons (106%), poultry - 172.9 thousand tons (103%).
According to the Deputy Minister, in the republic, as of November 8, the gross daily milk yield is 3426.5 tons.
The Baltasinsky, Atninsky, Kukmorsky, Alekseevsky, Aktanyshsky and Sabinsky districts were among the best in milk production,. Vysokogorsky, Mamadyshsky and Kukmorsky districts showed the best dynamics in meat production.
In addition, the meeting summed up the reproduction of cattle. The organization of this work was reported by the head of the State Public Institution "State Pedagogical University of Breeding in Livestock Production" Rishat Zaripov.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the districts were called to take part in the contest "The best worker in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tatarstan".
