Today, Marat Zyabbarov and CEO of the largest Russian mineral fertilizer distribution network PhosAgro-Region (PhosAgro Group) Andrei Vovk discussed the implementation of the export potential of the agricultural sector of Tatarstan through the use of green agricultural technologies and the Golden Autumn 2019 environmentally friendly mineral fertilizers.
After the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the PhosAgro-Region network.
We remind that the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in his message to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan in September 2019 drew the attention of farmers to the need to ensure that each hectare of arable land has at least 70 kg of fertilizers active substance.
At the opening of the Golden Autumn exhibition, the General Director of PhosAgro, the President of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Manufacturers (RAFM) Andrei Guryev presented the ecological labeling of Russian mineral fertilizers, which introduced for the first time in the history of domestic industry to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev and the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev. Ecological Russian phosphorus-containing fertilizers, along with agricultural products, will enter the branded country segment of products with improved environmental characteristics. According to the authors of the project, the creation of a national segment of clean food products will provide competitive advantages to Russian producers in the foreign market, strengthen the country's position in removing trade barriers and allow creating a niche for reference green products in the future.
For reference:
The largest Russian mineral fertilizer distribution network PhosAgro-Region (PhosAgro Group) began direct work in Tatarstan 5 years ago, today one of the regional offices operates in Kazan. In 2017, PhosAgro-Region launched its own distribution and logistics center in the south of Tatarstan, providing mineral fertilizers to farmers in nearby areas, as well as Samara and Ulyanovsk regions. On the basis of this center, PhosAgro-Region develops the direction of agronomic services: the development of plant mineral nutrition systems using new brands of PhosAgro mineral fertilizers and agricultural support of crops by the PhosAgro-Region agronomic service with the involvement of local specialists in the field of agricultural chemistry.
