According to operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of September 30, grain and leguminous crops (except corn for grain) were harvested from an area of 1 million 420.9 thousand hectares (99.8% of the forecast), 4 million 250.3 thousand tons of grain were harvested . The average grain yield is 30 kg / ha. Winter crops were sown on an area of 496.7 thousand ha (92% of the forecast).
Today, the districts are beginning to thresh sunflower and corn for grain. Sunflower was harvested from an area of 132.4 thousand ha, and corn - 52.1 thousand ha. We started harvesting sunflower in Alekseevsky, Alkeevsky, Buinsky, Laishevsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky Rybno-Slobodsky, Spassky, Tetyushsky and Cheremshansky areas. Buinsky, Vysokogorsky, Zelenodolsky and Pestrechinsky districts were the first to harvest crops.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, Marat Zyabbarov, noted that attractive purchase prices for milk had been established in the republic, therefore, more attention was paid to increasing productivity in the village. In order to maintain this dynamic, it is important to ensure a sufficient amount of grain corn in the diet of cows.
Since the beginning of the harvesting campaign, sugar beets have been dug from 28.1 thousand ha, which is 44% of the area of this crop. Over 1.19 million tons of root crops have been accumulated, the average yield is 425.7 c / ha. This is 76.9 kg / ha more than on the same date in 2018.
Potatoes were harvested from 3.8 thousand ha (72% of the forecast), 109 thousand tons of tubers were accumulated, vegetables were harvested from 1.6 thousand ha (62%), 36.4 thousand tons were harvested. The yield of potatoes is 287.2 centners per hectare, and vegetables - 231.7 centners per hectare, which exceeds the figures for the same date last year by 10 centners per hectare and 48 centners per hectare respectively.
Rapeseed harvesting is in full swing. In total, more than 48 thousand ha were threshed, it's been about 62 thousand tons with a yield of 12.9 c / ha.
As for the autumn tillage, the republic carried it out on an area of 1 million 241 thousand hectares out of 1.9 million hectares. The processing involved 1.7 thousand units. Every day, the equipment processes about 40 thousand hectares of land̆. Good dynamics were demonstrated by Sabinsky, Baltasinsky, Aktanyshsky, Atninsky, Yutazinsky, Kukmorsky and several other areas.
The timely treatment from year to year shows its effectiveness, contributing to the accumulation of autumn rainfall and spring melt water.
