Marat Zyabbarov urged the released equipment to maximize the use of autumn tillage
Agricultural enterprises of the republic should organize plowing of chill in a round-the-clock mode. This was stated by the acting Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Marat Zyabbarov today at a meeting in the House of Government of Tatarstan.
The meeting via videoconferencing with all municipal areas of the republic was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic Alexey Pesoshin.
Reporting on the progress of seasonal field work, Marat Zyabbarov noted that today in the republic the work on the main autumn cultivation of arable land was carried out on half of the planned areas (excluding 107 thousand hectares, in which crops are cultivated using no-till soil cultivation technology, and 132 thousand hectares of sunflower, which is harvested at a later date).
“This is about 1 million hectares, 400 thousand of which have been deepened arable layer,” added the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan
As nоted by Marat Zyabbarov, "more than half of the work is done (about 30 districts), the rest need to catch up and lay the foundation for the future harvest." The sowing of winter crops has been completed, machine operators and equipment have been freed, even despite this we process only 30 thousand ha per day, although the existing potential of agricultural machinery allows us to process 50 thousand ha, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan informed.
“It is necessary to load tillage tools around the clock, while weather conditions are favorable”, said Marat Zyabbarov.
Acсording to him, this year in the divisions of JSC “Agrosila” organized night plowing, which can significantly accelerate the pace of seasonal field work.
According to the agency, in Zainsky, Kaybitsky, Kukmorsky and Spassky districts 25 high-performance units are involved in round-the-clock work. Autumn plowing is also carried out round-the-clock in separate agricultural enterprises of Buinsky, Cheremshansky, Aktanyshsky, Atninsky, Arsky, Sabinsky, Muslyumovsky, Novosheshminsky, Tyulyachinsky, Drozhzhanovsky and Sarmanovsky districts.
“I recommend the heads of districts and farms to send the equipment and machine operators to the processing of winter swell as soon as possible.
