The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a press conference on state support for gardeners

The problems of roads, uninterrupted electricity, water, as well as the issues of household waste disposal are being solved in the gardening societies of Tatarstan thanks to state support. This was announced today by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov at a press conference in Tatar-inform.

“An unprecedented state program to support gardeners is being implemented in Tatarstan. Earlier, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan made a decision on the annual allocation of 550 million rubles for the engineering infrastructure of horticultural partnerships. Over the years of the program, many gardeners have felt the real help of the state, ”said the speaker.

In Tatarstan, more than 950 gardening and fence non-profit partnerships are registered, which use 386 thousand land plots with a total area of 20 thousand hectares. More than 1 billion rubles was allocated from the republican budget in 2017-2018 to solve the problems of gardeners, 52 wells were repaired, 271 sites for collection and removal of solid waste, 15.2 km of water supply, 64.3 km of access roads and 107 km of power lines. Work on the repair of engineering infrastructure facilities for horticultural and vegetable gardening associations is ongoing.

“First of all, people were worried about the provision of roads, uninterrupted electricity, water and the disposal of household waste, the provision of collection sites. These problems are being solved at the expense of the republican program, ”the speaker noted.

The republic has a program to co-finance the costs of garden non-profit partnerships for the repair of internal and external infrastructure. In 2019, 83.6 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for co-financing the repair of internal facilities.

Horticultural partnerships wishing to participate in co-financing programs can apply to the land and property relations department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
