The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that from October 4 to 13, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will hold the Agricultural Week for the first time, including a series of business, specialized and cultural events for industry professionals, residents and guests of the capital. Today, Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev discussed issues related to the preparation of the Week with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Gordeev, who supported the event and expressed his readiness to take part in it.
In addition to the traditional XXI Russian Golden Autumn agricultural exhibition, which will be held at VDNH from October 9 to 12, the International Agro-Industrial Forum (MAPF-2019) will be held for the first time as part of AIC Week, where leading Russian and foreign experts will discuss global issues of agricultural development in Russia and the world. In particular, the plenary session of the forum will be devoted to the creation of a “green brand”, the prospects for the production of organic and environmentally friendly agricultural products in Russia.
Also, the Business Breakfast of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will be held for the first time. At the site of Sberbank Corporate University, government officials, experts and business representatives will discuss the integrated development of rural areas.
The central cultural event of AgroWeek will be the Golden Autumn National Gastronomic Festival, which will be held on Red Square. The festival will feature the best regional brands of food products, agro-innovations, master classes, a museum of agricultural machinery and other educational areas.
In addition, the festival of Russian winemaking will be held for the first time in restaurants and on city venues, the guests of which will be able to taste the best domestic wines, learn about their origin and the history of this industry in our country.
The traditional concert in the State Kremlin Palace, dedicated to the Day of the Worker of Agriculture and Processing Industry, this year will be complemented by a concert at the Timiryazev Academy - an actual format for young people, a new generation of farmers.
