Last week, a delegation from the Republic of Bashkortostan visited the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The head of the agro-industrial complex and consumer market and forestry department of the Government of the Republic of Belarus Marcel Kashaev and representatives of the regional branch of the Union of Russian Gardeners attended the visit.

The guests met with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rishat Khabipov, the Chairman of the Association of Gardeners of the Tukaevsky District Dmitry Volkov, and specialists from the Department of Land and Property Relations. During the meeting, the parties exchanged experiences of interaction between executive authorities and horticultural and vegetable garden non-profit partnerships. The guests were also presented with the results of the restoration of the engineering infrastructure of horticultural and vegetable garden non-profit partnerships in the Tukaevsky district of Tatarstan.

In addition, as part of the event, the parties discussed the main problems of horticulture in all regions: the access of roads, water, electricity, and sites for the collection and removal of solid waste. In Tatarstan, 1.132 billion rubles were allocated from the republican budget in 2017-2018 to solve these problems, including 1.1 billion rubles and 32.3 million rubles for internal facilities for overhaul and reconstruction of external engineering infrastructure facilities.

It should be noted that, taking into account the wishes of citizens, by the decision of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 11.07.2019 No. 2986-V GS the first Saturday of September in Tatarstan is set as a holiday - Gardener's Day.

This year, festive events are planned to be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan on September 21 at the site of the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park.
