A small form of business in Tatarstan is successfully developing and is heading towards automation of manual labor. Even in small personal subsidiary farms and family farms, milking machines are used, autonomous feeding and watering systems are introduced. For example, an automatic feeding system for calves is installed in the family farm of Latypovs from the Vysokogorsky District. The system reads the tag on the neck of the calf and by the hour provides food in the optimal size for the growth and development of the animal. The Marakin family from the Zainsky district remotely monitors the temperature in poultry houses. And in the farm "N.V. Volodin" one of the first in the republic appeared recently specialized harvester for picking currants.
On July 17, the Weremczuk harvester passed the first test of Nikolai Volodin’s currant plantation in the Rybno-Sloboda district. Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov, director of the state budgetary institution Competence Center Ilnur Habibullin, head of the district Ildar Tazutdinov, heads of peasant farms involved in the cultivation of berries came to observe the work.
In 2016, Nikolai Volodin together with his cousin Vladimir Kaparulin opened a peasant farm for currant cultivation. He received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan to grow fruit and berries in the amount of 1.5 million rubles, bought a tractor, agricultural machinery and seedlings. “We went to Belgorod, we agreed on the purchase of seedlings. We brought on order 25 thousand currant bushes. They were planted one-year-old saplings on an area of about 7 hectares, they adapted well to our conditions and went well in growth. We gradually increased the area to 15 hectares, ”says the head of the KFH.
Before the test, Nikolai Volodin told the guests about his secrets of currant cultivation. “Last season they received the first fruits of their labor. They gathered currants together with their relatives, hired workers. The first harvest was 500 kilograms. Currant is in demand. They are ready to purchase 1-2 tons per day, in the future we plan to work with large retail outlets, ”said the owner of peasant farms. The head of the region stressed that the climate in Rybnaya Sloboda is favorable for growing berries. He also noted that in the coming months, a cooperative of three KFHs will be created. For these cooperatives, the state provides a grant support. With this help, you can build a place of storage, processing, packaging of vegetables and fruits.
“Fish Village is one of the many areas that are actively involved in farming. More than 80 entrepreneurs are engaged in animal husbandry, growing rye, wheat, barley, and beets. Some of them began to cultivate strawberries, Chinese cabbage, and currants. It pleases us. I want to say to them “Well done!”. If they participate in grants, they will be supported by the state. Today we decided to see the beginning of this work and show the experience to other areas, ”said Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Tatarstan.
After turning on the combine, the attention of all those gathered was drawn to the field. The guests had a question, how does this technique work? It harvested currants among the bushes, and the participants of the event vividly discussed the amazing device of the unit. The tests were successful. The combine copes well with its task, however, it will require a slight refinement, taking into account the individual characteristics of the bushes on the plantations.
It should be noted that the introduction of automated systems greatly facilitates manual labor in the countryside and saves time. It remains to wish the entrepreneur successful realization of fruit and berry products and obtaining a decent profit.
