The opening of the largest agricultural exhibition of the Volga region "Field Day in Tatarstan - 2019"
Today, the largest agrotechnical exhibition of the Volga region "Field Day in Tatarstan - 2019" started in the Laishevsky district. The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Adviser of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin, Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.
The exhibition “Field Day in Tatarstan” is an open presentation of products, goods and services of the agro-industrial complex in field conditions. The exhibition presents all categories of used means in agriculture: from high-yielding varieties of crops, effective fertilizers and plant protection products to tillage and forage harvesting equipment. This year, 167 companies from 24 regions of Russia and Belarus take part in the exhibition.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude for the high level of organization of the exhibition. “Many of our partners presented their products and technologies here. The business program includes holding workshops, round tables and conferences. We expect that 3,5 thousand specialists of the agro-industrial complex will take part in the exhibition, ”the President of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized.
He noted that many of the projects presented would have been impossible without the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia: “Today, at the federal level, there is great assistance to both large agricultural holdings and small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises. This is a very serious support. ”
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan added that without the development and introduction of modern technologies it is very difficult to remain competitive. “Today we were presented with a tractor with an autopilot system, the most advanced technologies in animal husbandry, samples of drought-resistant crops. This is a great experience. I am sure that many of our suppliers will be able to expand their contacts, ”said Rustam Minnikhanov.
State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev noted that today the country's agro-industrial complex shows great success. “We have achieved record levels in certain industry areas, which we have not had for 40 years. We are technologically developed, we have formed a very remarkable financial support, made the country's agro-industrial complex interesting for investment, ”he said.
According to Ivan Lebedev, today the agricultural sector of Russia faces challenges related to the development of domestic seeds, selection and genetics of animals, the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. “I am very pleased to be present at this grand exhibition. Thanks to the leadership of the republic and the coordinated work of the team, we see here the brightest results that exist in our country. Tatarstan has formed its own measures of support for agriculture, including complex areas: agricultural machinery, dairy, crop production. And the more such examples there are, the more actively we will be able to develop the agricultural industry of our country, ”said the State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The honored guests visited the exposition, got acquainted with various types of agricultural equipment, new varieties of crops, plant protection products, new information systems introduced in the agro-industrial complex, and also visited the booths of exhibiting companies. During the inspection of experimental plots, Rustam Minnikhanov presented a certificate for 5 combines for servicing the variety sections of the State Committee on RT. Also the honored guests visited the exhibition of rare tractors and the republican competition of machine milking operators.
The exhibition "Field Day in Tatarstan - 2019" continues its work from 2 to 4 July. The event also includes a rich business program: round tables, seminars, master classes and company presentations.
