The opening of the Kazan dairy plant took place in Tatarstan
Today, the State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev visited the Kazan Dairy Plant (KOMOS GROUP agricultural holding). Here, after the first stage of modernization, a symbolic launch of production took place.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, managing shareholder of KOMOS GROUP Andrei Shutov and other officials also took part in the launching ceremony. They familiarized themselves with the work of the workshops and inspected the modern equipment installed at the dairy plant: a hardware workshop, a packing workshop, a shop for the production of dairy products and equipment where the starter process for producing kefir, katyk, ryazhenka, etc. takes place. Then the guests visited the site where the milk production in PET bottles was located. Here, the guests tasted ice cream, which is produced at the Kazan Dairy Plant.
On the stage in the courtyard of the plant, a film about the history of the plant and its modernization was shown.
The Kazan Dairy Plant was purchased by the company KOMOS GROUP (Udmurtia) in 2017. In the same year, the company started the implementation of an investment project on modernization, which is scheduled to be held in 3 stages (2017–2021), with a total investment of 3.5 billion rubles. Investments in the first stage amounted to 1.6 billion rubles. Financing of the project is carried out at the expense of own funds of LLC Kazan Dairy Plant and at the expense of credit organizations (Gazprombank and Rosselkhozbank).
As Rustam Minnikhanov stated at the ceremony of launching production, today is a significant event for Kazan and Tatarstan. He also reminded that Kazan Dairy Plant is one of the oldest enterprises of the city, which was founded in 1932.
“I have been here more than once in different years,” said Rustam Minnikhanov. - And I see how the company is changing. There were times when the company was at the bottom, and now in 2017 there appeared an investor - the company KOMOS GROUP. Today it is our strategic partner. The company implements other projects in our republic - they are associated with poultry and pig breeding. We see that the investor is focused on high results. ”
Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded that everything done at the enterprise is only the first stage of modernization, and the investor has already invested 1.6 billion rubles. The President of Tatarstan emphasized that the enterprise today already exports its products, and also supplies to 70 regions of the country. “We see that they produce high-quality products here,” said Rustam Minnikhanov. - And this means that the population of the region will consume high-quality dairy products. I am sure that we have enough milk and production capacity in the republic to provide the population with high-quality products. ”
Rustam Minnikhanov also said that the Kazan Dairy Plant still has many interesting ideas - in particular, there is an idea of producing milk for schoolchildren as part of the School Milk program. “We see high professionalism, good investor approach to business,” said Rustam Minnikhanov. “From our part, we will assist in growing your business.”
In turn, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Ivan Lebedev said that the new production of the Kazan Dairy Plant is a vivid example of how the state support works today. According to him, the dairy industry is an absolute priority in terms of providing state support. “According to the doctrine of food security, we still have some shortage of milk production in the amount of 5-6 million tons,” said Ivan Lebedev. “But you see that this year the price is stable for the first time, there is no volatility.”
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, the department has been pursuing a tough policy on the use of palm fats, they introduced the Mercury system.
Addressing the representatives of KOMOS GROUP, Ivan Lebedev noted: “You are a transparent company, working with real raw materials. Use all the possibilities and already deliver products for export to China. I wish you prosperity. ”
