20 June 2019, Thursday

The day of forage harvesting is at least a week of full wintering of livestock. “It is advisable to ensure the continuous operation of the food procurement units, and where possible - around the clock,” said First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov, pointing out the importance of the ongoing campaign in the republic to prepare fodder for livestock. In Tatarstan, for successful wintering of livestock in agricultural enterprises, it is necessary to procure at least 1.8 million tons of conventional feed units, therefore, in the fields of the republic, work on forage harvesting is in full swing.

For example, the company "Akkireyevo" near the village of Akkireyevo, a haylage with a capacity of 600 tons has already been laid out of the herbs of the new crop. They proceed to harvesting hay. At the site near the "Petrel" grass has been already mowed and dried.

“Despite the fact that the pit is small, there is a lot of mass here,” Jasur Heitkulov, who is working on K-700 on ramming, day and night.- It is nice that they appreciate the value of our work. Today, they even treated the pilaf.

Alexey Borisov rags the hay already dried on one side at the alfalfa site. Having started work early in the morning, he overcame a considerable square. The mass here is not bad: thick and ripe. This machine operator with 30 years of experience participated in the laying of haylage.

Today, it is a tense time for the Akkireyevsky farmers of the Romanovskys - they mow and clean a fire. “The rolls are taken right away, we don’t have time to prepare them,” says Anatoly Romanovsky, the tractor manager. “For such ripe hay harvested in dry and clear weather, the demand will certainly be high.”

In the whole region, perennial grasses are mowed on an area of 1,432 hectares, 210 tons of hay are harvested and 600 tons of haylage are laid. There is still a lot of work ahead. And the main thing in the preparation of livestock feed - a good pace and quality.
