Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan: it is necessary to procure at least 1.8 million tons of feed units
Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan about the progress of the current work in the fields of the republic.
The meeting was held in the form of video conferencing with all municipal districts by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
Nikolay Titov noted that today it is a crucial period for the fields - the formation of the harvest. “At the moment an important issue is the combination of plant protection and nutrition. The complex approach allows to solve a whole packet of problems associated with weeds, diseases, pests, and in the same time to feed the plants with the necessary nutrients. The task is to process about 4 million hectares for the growing season, ”he said.
Cultures with different phases of development are cultivated in the republic. Winter crops cultures are in the earing phase. This is one of the most crucial periods, since the competent application of agrotechnical techniques can make it possible to significantly improve the grain size of the ear, thus increasing the yield. “The spring is the phase of the output in the tube. At the same time, the passage of spraying with protective equipment and fertilizers will allow us to lay the foundation for a more weighty spike, and a second run with foliar dressing in the earing phase is a guarantee of a good harvest. And we need to take advantage of this, ”Nikolai Titov addressed to the republican agrarians.
The speaker added that one of the important requirements is the use of normalized water prepared in stationary mortar nodes. Today, Atninsky, Kukmorsky and a number of other regions of the republic demonstrate a serious approach to this business.
Separately, Nikolay Titov told about the questions of forage preparation. He recalled that the farms were tasked to complete the harvesting of feed of the first mowing by June 20. “In general, for productive winter, we need to procure at least 1.8 million tons of feed units, ”added Nikolay Titov.
