Marat Akhmetov: the main spring sowing is almost complete
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the sowing in general has been completed. This was announced today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.
The meeting was held in the form of video conferencing with all municipal districts by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin.
Thus, only 1.75 million hectares (99%) were sown in the republic, including 1.0 million hectares of spring grains (99%). It remains to sow (plant) corn - 21.2 thousand hectares, buckwheat - 5.5 thousand hectares, annual herbs - 5.0 thousand hectares, potatoes - 1.4 thousand hectares, vegetables - 300 hectares.
Marat Akhmetov also reported on holding events on leaf feeding - in the dynamics by years. So, in 2017, top dressing was carried out on 1.1 million hectares, in 2018 - 1.3 million hectares. According to the minister, this year an ambitious task has been set - to double the figures compared to 2018.
As for the accumulation of mineral fertilizers, on average in Tatarstan about 53.7 kg of active substance was accumulated per 1 hectare of sown area.
Then Marat Akhmetov reported on the status of perennial grasses in the fields of municipal districts.
“The quality of feed determines the economic efficiency of milk production and the level of animal productivity,” said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Marat Akhmetov dwelled on the issues of control over the availability of veterinary accompanying documents when selling poultry.
In order to avoid the spread of bird flu, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, together with the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the General Administration of Veterinary Medicine, carry out measures to organize the sale of poultry in special areas and only if there are veterinary documents.
Marat Akhmetov also talked about thearrears at agricultural enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan.
