Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is exploring the possibilities of cooperation with German companies
On May 21, Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, met with a delegation from the federal state of Thuringia (Federal Republic of Germany) headed by the Minister of Economy, Science and Digital Technologies of Thuringia.
A representative delegation of Thuringia is in Kazan with a working visit. Yesterday, May 20, 2019, the Minister of Economy, Science and Digital Society of Thuringia, Wolfgang Tiefensee, took part in the opening ceremony of the finals of the VII National Championship WorldSkills Russia, and this morning met with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister RT - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.
During the meeting in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolay Titov spoke about the potential of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan and possible areas for cooperation. “The Ministry is always open for cooperation and implementation of advanced ideas,” said the first deputy minister.
The representative of IBYKUS AG, Michael Erdmann, spoke about the company's opportunities in the field of digitization of agriculture. Nikolay Titov invited the company to participate in the “Field Day” in Tatarstan, in which the republic’s agricultural producers will be able to familiarize themselves with the software offered by the German company and discuss questions of interest at the round table. The proposal of the Ministry was gladly accepted by the German side.
Also, other German companies presented their projects. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan got interested with the proposals of the German side for the internship of students of "green professions", the exchange of best practices and scientific developments in the field of animal husbandry and the selection of crops.
