Tatarstan hosts zonal workshops on livestock production
On May 15, the zonal seminar-conferences on milk production, livestock safety and herd production in Tetyushsky and Arsky districts was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Hazipov, heads of municipalities and heads of agricultural enterprises also took part in the events.
As part of the zonal workshops, the results of animal husbandry for 4 months in 2019 were summed up, and participants also discussed issues of livestock reproduction, innovative technologies for animal feeding, dairy farming and factors affecting its efficiency.
It should be noted that dairy cattle breeding is one of the priorities of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan and, thanks to the implementation by the Ministry of measures to support the production and sale of milk in the republic, positive results are noted. Tatarstan is confidently leading in terms of milk sales among the regions of Russia.
On May 16, a series of zonal workshops-meetings on improving the efficiency of livestock production will be held in Aksubayevsky and Rybno-Slobodsky districts and will continue on May 17 in Aznakaevsky and Tukayevsky districts. The main goal of the events is to assist agricultural producers of Tatarstan in successfully producing livestock products in agricultural organizations, peasant farms and private farms.
