Agricultural insurance in Tatarstan becomes particularly important.
On March 19, a working meeting on crop insurance was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. It should be noted that agricultural insurance is of particular importance for risk farming regions, including the republic. Insurance of sowing crops allows agricultural producers to minimize risks in their activities.
It was discussed at a meeting in which Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Sadykov, Head of the Agriculture Industry Development Department of Tatarstan Insurance Company, Deputy Director of the Kazan Branch IJSC “VSK” Svetlana Lugovnina, head of the corporate insurance department of the branch of IC “Consent” Ayrat Khakimov and head of the corporate insurance department of JSC CO Talisman Yuliya Sorokina took part.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of agricultural insurance in Tatarstan in connection with the introduction of amendments to the Federal Law of July 25, 2011 "On State Support in the Field of Agricultural Insurance and on Amendments to the Federal Law "On Agricultural Development ", considered offers of insurance products and identified the main directions for the development of crop insurance for the current year.
We remind that in Tatarstan there is a state program in the field of agricultural insurance, by which agricultural producers can receive a reimbursement of up to 95% of the cost of paying insurance premiums.
