The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites students of rural schools to take part in the All-Russian competition "AgroNTI-2019"
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites students of rural schools to take part in the All-Russian Competition "AgroNTI-2019" among students in grades 5-11 in three age categories and four areas:
• Agrocopters (distributed systems of unmanned aerial vehicles, automatic control systems);
• Agrobots (electronic automated control systems of agricultural machinery);
• Agrocosmos (processing data from the geostationary orbit to automate strategic decision-making);
• Agrometeo (weather forecasting, weather archive creation, analytics).
The competition is held by the Innovation Promotion Foundation together with the non-profit organization Association of Educational Institutions of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Fisheries with the support of the Department of Scientific and Technological Policy and Education, the Department of Digital Development and the Management of State Information Resources of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the Competition is to familiarize and involve students of educational institutions located in rural areas in the work on the technological priorities of the National Technology Initiative (NTI), including the use of digital technologies in agriculture, the tasks of robotization of the agro-industrial complex, the use of UAVs in agriculture. The competition is aimed at realizing the creative potential of students, as well as their early professional orientation.
The main objectives of the competition are:
the development of students' creativity and interest in specialties in the field of agricultural sciences;
the formation of key competencies, professionally significant personal qualities and motivation for the practical application of subject knowledge;
creation of favorable conditions for self-determination, creative self-realization of students;
increasing the prestige of specialties in the field of agricultural sciences;
vocational guidance of students;
distribution and popularization of knowledge in the field of agricultural sciences;
involvement of the scientific and business communities to work with talented students.
All-Russian competition AgroNTI-2019 is held among students of 5-11 grades in 4 stages:
- an extramural regional stage, the participants of which may be students from all regions of Russia (April 1-25, 2019);
- a full-time regional stage, in which the winners of the correspondence regional stage will take part, is held on the basis of agricultural universities of Russia (May 13-14, 2019);
- the final stage will be held in all nominations of the competition
(August 30 - September 6, 2019);
- the winners of the final stage will have the opportunity to take part in a specialized platform by the Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn 2019"
(October 2019).
To participate in the competition, you must fill in an application on the official website kids.agronti.ru/. Each participant has the opportunity to register in all four areas. Case studies or tests are proposed for each of the areas.
Kazan State Agrarian University will be one of the 9 sites for holding absentee and full-time regional stages.
