The event was held in Korston and attended by Farid Mukhametshin (Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan), Chairman of the National Council of Milli Shura of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, representatives of various ministries and departments of the republic.
Before the meeting, various types of halal products were presented to the guests, goods of folk and art crafts, and also were presented projects for the preservation of the Tatar language and national culture.
Opening the meeting, Vasil Shaikhraziyev said that this year more than 800 representatives of small businesses, farms and farmsteads from 39 regions of Russia are taking part in the forum. Previously was organized the work of discussion platforms with the participation of Tatar businessmen, as well as an on-site event was held in the Muslyumovsky district.
As part of their speeches, business representatives spoke out a number of topical issues. Among them was the outflow of the population from the villages to large cities, the issues of product sales and search for new markets, the development of interaction with Tatar entrepreneurs from other regions of Russia, including Tatarstan.
“Today it is very important to preserve our native language, traditions and rich culture. However, in the city it is very difficult. Our foundation is a village. Therefore, it is necessary to support it, to create conditions for a comfortable life. This year, 40 different programs will be implemented in the republic, more than half of which are aimed at the development of the village”, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
He noted that today only 30% of Tatars live in the republic, the rest are in other regions of Russia and abroad. “As part of our business trips we always try to meet with them, discuss issues of concern, and provide some support. Among them there are many enterprising people and business representatives, ”said the President of Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov marked that entrepreneurs make a great contribution to the development and preservation of Tatar villages. Developing their business projects, they create jobs, thereby keeping people in a smallhomeland.
At the end of the event, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and Acknowledgments from the President of Tatarstan.
