In January, pork production increased in Tatarstan
This year in January 7 thousand tons of pig meat in live weight was produced in the industrial sector, which is 6% more than in the same period of 2018.
For the 1st February of 2019, the number of pigs in agricultural enterprises is 436.5 thousand heads, or almost 103% compared to last year.
The largest contribution to the increase of pig meat’ production was made by such companies as LLC Kamsky Bacon - 4 thousand tons (107% by 2018), LLC Avangard - 1.5 thousand tons (109%), LLC TatmitAgro "- 0.7 thousand tons. LLC "AF" Yaltau ", LLC PSK" Salman ", KFH S. Pashkov, LLC" Agrokam ", LLC" Navruz ", LLC" Tukash "and LLC" Fenix " also successfully engaged in pig breeding. There are about 421 thousand pigs in these companies and farms. These enterprises account 98% of pork produced in agricultural organizations of the republic.
The company "Kamsky Bacon" was among 20 largest enterprises producing pork in the Russian Federation in 2018. And last year, the Phoenix agricultural enterprise built and put into operation the first phase of a modern high-tech pig farm for 800 animals. The project is designed to produce 4 thousand tons of pork per year. Today, the number of pigs at existing sites of Phoenix is 8 thousand heads. Now the company is working on the design of second phase of construction of the complex for 1600 sows.
