Manufacturing of eco-products was discussed in OOO “Biopreparaty”

This year OOO “Biopreparaty” celebrated the 55th anniversary. On this occasion, a workshop was held there today. Its topic was “From healthy soil to healthy population!” First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov, Director of OOO “Biopreparaty” Rimma Ibatullina, chiefs of regional agricultural directorates, heads and specialists of agricultural enterprises of the republic took part in the event.

Nikolai Titov made an opening speech. “Despite of its young age – 55 years old – OOO “Research and Production Institute “Biopreparaty” has profound experience in manufacturing of eco-products, - he noted. – Currently, the enterprise is manufacturing over 50 kinds of biological products”.

Nikolai Titov spoke in details about the importance of eco-production and health promotion among the population.

“Time goes by, agricultural producers are looking for the ways to increase the efficiency of agricultural production. I wish the institute to move beyond and to enter new markets”, - he said.

Rimma Ibatullina informed the participants about the potential of biological products in cultivation of agricultural crops. “A lot depends on the kind of soils, but, owing to biological products, on some fields there was an increase in the yield by 10-30%, and by 50% at production of some bean cultures”, - she reported.

Director General of “Elite Tatarstan seeds” Association Yuriy Erov, scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan State Agrarian University, etc. also gave their speeches at the seminar.

The participants visited OOO “TC “Maiskiy” and production premises of OOO “Biopreparaty” as a practical part of the seminar.

For reference. In the 60s, a special production facility was founded on “Kazanskiy teplichnyi” state owned farm due to the severe shortage of mineral fertilizers. Thus, OOO “Scientific and Production Institute “Biopreparaty” was founded in 1962. Currently, the enterprise is manufacturing over 50 kinds of biological products for both crop husbandry and cattle breeding, which are in high demand among agricultural producers.
