Sessions on breeding of highly-productive first-heifers are carried out in Tatarstan municipal districts. Yesterday, on December 14, 2017, such a session took place in OOO “Vatan” Agro-Firm” of Arsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov, the head of the district Ilshat Nuriev, Chief of the Department of Cattle Breeding Development at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Siren Nigmatzyanov, Chief of the district agricultural directorate Renat Gatiyatov, directors and specialists of agricultural enterprises participated in the session.

Within the framework of the session, special attention was paid to the issues of feeding and keeping of dairy cattle and young livestock. In OOO “Vatan” Agro-Firm” they regularly run tests in a laboratory and after that make a diet. There is an extruder in the farm household to produce fodder.

The participants of the session visited farms of OOO “Vatan” Agro-Firm”, examined the housing conditions for heifers and dairy cows, and learnt about the data system in pedigree cattle breeding.

In Aksubaevo municipal district of the republic of Tatarstan the session was held in OOO “Aksu Agro”. The head of the district Kamil Gilmanov, the head of the Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Cattle Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov, specialist of district directorates, directors and zoo veterinary specialists of farm households took part in the session.

In is opening speech, the head of the district Kamil Gilmanov noted that in Tatarstan cattle breeding the year of 2018 had been announced to be “The year of breeding of highly-productive heifers”. “We have the opportunities to increase efficiency of cattle breeding production”, - he emphasized.

During the session, its participants visited “Nur” farm department with a cow herd and bred heifers. The participants were especially interested in the process of feed mix making.
